Mays Floorplans Ltd – Guidance to visit Properties in COVID-19
5th of January 2021 Update:
Mays Floorplans will carry out visits, in line with Public Health England’s recommendations, only if the photographer is well and has had no symptoms of COVID-19 in the previous 10 days. No visits will be allowed to any household which is isolating or where an individual has been classed as ‘at risk’.
WE WILL FOLLOW THE MEASURES LISTED BELOW:
· Our photographers/surveyors will adhere to strict social distancing
· They will only bring in the minimal amount of equipment to enable them to complete the booked job
· They will be sanitising their equipment between visits
· They will be wearing face-masks. Gloves and shoe covers can be used if requested
· They will be using hand sanitiser
· They will not touch or move any items whilst in the property
We will be checking that no occupants are self-isolating or displaying symptoms when the appointment is booked and again when collecting keys or arriving at the property. We will be especially careful of anyone currently identified as most at risk and will expect a good level of communication between occupier/agent and ourselves to ensure our visits go smoothly.
INFORMATION FOR THE PROPERTY OCCUPIER
· Once our photographer has been given access any occupier must remain outside until the job is completed if possible but never be in the same room and must wear a mask for the duration of our visit.
· Photographers will NOT move anything whilst at the property, this includes interior and exterior items eg. Wheelie bins and garden furniture etc
Therefore please ensure that the property has been suitably prepared for the visit and understand that it won’t be possible for us to do any tidying. Please be aware that there will a charge to use Photoshop for this purpose. Please have the property staged as you want it to be photographed.
· The property must have had a thorough clean before our visit especially frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, handrails, table tops and work surfaces etc
· To have all internal doors open and all lights on so that we can navigate our way around the property without having the touch anything
· To advice you if they start to show any symptoms within 14 days of our visit
AGENTS NOTE
· If we are entering a vacant property and handling keys collected from an agent/concierge they will be sanitised on collection and before return. It will be the agent’s responsibility to ensure the property is able to be photographed in line with the measures outlined above. Please be aware that there will a charge to use Photoshop for this purpose
Please share this information with the owners/occupiers before our visit and confirm their acceptance of these conditions.
